UC San Diego Health has held its Magnet status since 2011. The Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion is an outpatient clinical facility on UC San Diego Health's La Jolla campus. The facility includes eight surgery suites, basic and advanced imaging, physical therapy and pain management - plus infusion and apheresis services. The four-floor, 156,000-square-foot facility opened in March of 2018. Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in the assigned department, performs a wide variety of patient care activities in support of patient care. This includes prioritizing and assisting in patient triage processing, preparation and assistance with patient examinations, administering medications, drawing blood, collecting and preparing laboratory tests, and patient education. Position requires initiative, able to prioritize critical demands, exercise independent judgment, and the ability to work in a team environment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $71,410 - $88,782 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $34.20 - $42.52 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
