Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Forensics Analyst with a strong background in XKS, Wireshark, and pcap analysis. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in network protocol analysis to investigate and analyze network traffic, uncover hidden threats, and provide actionable insights. If you have a passion for forensic analysis and experience in these key areas, we want you on our team!

The Level 3 Forensic Analyst shall possess the following capabilities:



  • Demonstrate relevant experience in the design/development of computer or information systems, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, and/or systems engineering.
  • Ability to analyze and exploit captured media
  • Ability to investigate computer security incidents in order to derive useful intelligence and/or enable mitigation of network /host-based vulnerabilities
  • Strong critical thinking and collaboration skills


Qualifications:



  • Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associates degree with 10 years of experience of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
  • Bachelor'sDegree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field (e.g. General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensic, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security).
  • Relevant experience must be in the design/development of computer or information systems, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, and/or systems engineering. Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course) will be considered towards the relevant experience requirements (i.e. 24-week JCAC course will count as 6 months of experience)


Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
