Sr. Maintenance Technician

Avantor is looking for a Sr. Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) to install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures.

This person will also conduct general maintenance activities primarily on machinery and related equipment, maintain repair and maintenance records, troubleshoot problems and escalate the most complex issues.

This role will be a full-time position based out of our St. Louis, Missouri office.

Work Schedule: 2nd Shift: M-F, 2:00pm-10:30pm

What we're looking for:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent degree.

• Experience: 3 years of applicable experience in a similar position. Knowledge of HVAC systems is required.

• Additional Qualifications:

• Mathematical and MS Office skills.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and team-oriented.

How you will thrive and create an impact:

• Maintain building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.

• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, materials handling equipment, etc.

• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded.

• Answer security alarm calls as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
