What You'll Do

The Technical Service Administrator supports various administrative aspects of the Technical Service department. Actively augments "daily" key functions within technical service operations area. Serves customers by directing calls and e-mails, while acting as an effective liaison between customers and company personnel. Supports inter-office communications and administrative functions between Technical team and supporting departments.



  • Responsible for reading, categorizing (indexing) and assigning all incoming technical e-mails to appropriate tech team member. Sorts and maintains visibility to those assigned to support incoming requests. Follows up as required.
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of inbound customer correspondence. This activity includes: service agent invoice processing, matching paperwork to sales orders, daily preparation of invoice mailing, e-mail and/or fax shipping documents to customers.
  • Monitors customer contact via Outlook e-mail system. Provides timely follow-up of all support inquiries and spare parts order processing.
  • Maintains technical and professional knowledge by attending training, workshops, webinars and trade shows, and reviewing trade publications.
  • Contributes to team effort by maintaining intra-departmental workflow; fostering a spirit of cooperation; filling in for absences; sharing resources and knowledge; and accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Support of inbound telephone calls and support e-mails; update IssueTrak records as required
  • Ensures consistency and continuity of job results by maintaining a detailed procedures manual for all areas of responsibility.
  • Navigate ERP system as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You'll Bring



  • Associate's degree in business or office-related field, or combination of applicable training and experience.
  • Minimum of three years in operational office environment or equivalent.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable with multi-tasking.
  • Physical Requirements - Occasional lifting of no more than 25 lbs.
