Advanced Project Manager - eVinci

TheAdvanced Project Manager, eVinci will lead the eVinci efforts to develop and track plans for the core design, modeling & simulation, and various analysis disciplines (design basis, beyond design basis, PRA, hazards, radiation analysis, design transients, control systems, scaling) and the overall safety case for the design and licensing of the eVinci microreactor. Working closely with applicable eVinci engineering and project leadership to manage engagements with key program stakeholders.

This is a Mobile/Hybrid working opportunity (~2 - 3 days/week) in the Etna, PA facility.

Your Day to Day:

Project Management: Directly supporting the engineering managed scope for eVinci design

oResponsible for scope control and ownership

oSupport scope updates, schedule status and modifications and provide monthly reporting.

oPM project development of procurement specifications, Purchase orders and vendor oversight of software procurement and coordination with team members

oManage selected Sub contractor's POs to include quality, timeliness and budget on deliverables

oCommunicating program updates with internal leadership for the eVinci Program.

oManage the interface of this technical area with other eVinci technical area leads and PMs

oSupport the existing project management team in design areas for core design, safety analysis, and modeling

Management: Internal and External Stakeholders

oEstablish relationships with key stakeholders in the engineering management organization and support release to manufacturing activities with our sub suppliers and vendors as necessary.

oBuild capacity and knowledge of each key stakeholder to ensure effective communication outcomes by clearly defining lines of communication. Identify stakeholder issues, interests, and concerns to better define program alignment and provide direct technical input/feedback to the eVinci design team.

oMaintain stakeholder relationships once established through regular communication activities.Make the routine, routine.

oUpdate and maintain risk register for group.Seek updates and ensure accurate reporting/management.

oManage project milestones

Who You Are:

Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or other technical-related area.

5+ yearsrelevant professional experience in Program and Project management.

PMI PMP certification desired

Strong interpersonal and time management skills

Track record delivering quality on time and within predictable cost controls

Strong analytical thinking capability and ability to escalate issues as appropriate.

General knowledge of nuclear industry and related associations.

Organizational experience with planning, budgeting, operations and objectives.

Knowledge of team building, planning techniques, principles and practices.

Experience in developing and successfully implementing scope, schedule and budget plans.

Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, articulate spokesperson.
