Role and Responsibilities:
CW Resources is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Grounds Equipment Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repair on a variety of grounds-keeping equipment and tools. This role involves working with electrically-powered, gasoline, and diesel-powered machines, as well as small hand and power tools used in planting, cultivating, and trimming landscapes.



  • Service and repair electrically-powered, gasoline, and diesel-powered grounds-keeping equipment, including small hand and power tools.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records detailing preventive maintenance services performed and repairs completed on all ground's equipment.
  • Maintain an inventory of parts and supplies necessary for grounds equipment, ensuring timely availability for repairs and maintenance.
  • Oversee all grounds maintenance small hand and power tools, ensuring they are properly accounted for and in good working condition.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, using both mechanical and electrical expertise.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated safely and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support company objectives.


Requirements:



  • Minimum of (1) One-year experience working with Grounds Equipment.


Physical Demands:



  • Ability to use hand tools and precision instruments for repairs and adjustments.
  • Capability to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment, often up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 pounds].
  • Physical endurance to work long hours, including standing, kneeling, bending, and crouching during repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength, such as moving or installing heavy machinery and tools.
  • Frequent movement around equipment and work areas, including climbing ladders or accessing confined spaces.
  • Good hand-eye coordination to operate tools and machinery effectively and safely.
  • Ability to inspect equipment closely for wear, damage, and malfunctions, requiring good vision and attention to detail.
  • Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and dust.


Environmental Demands:



  • Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and direct sunlight.
  • Work in outdoor settings, which may involve uneven terrain and potentially hazardous conditions (e.g., working near moving equipment).
  • Potential exposure to allergens, such as pollen, dust, and grass.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and conditions based on project needs.
