Roles & Responsibilities:

CW Resources is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer, who is motivated and knowledgeable about Federal security clearances and can guide our staff members; (that predominately consist of adults with disabilities and disabling conditions) through to TS/SCI eligibility process from end to end.



  • Support new and current staff members in obtaining their security clearances from beginning to end.
  • Perform pre-screening interviews for security clearances.
  • Uphold government and company security policies and procedures.
  • Analyze complex personal situations and provide tailored solutions.
  • Assist employees in getting to appointments and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Conduct security briefings and educational programs.
  • Monitor the continuing eligibility program for employees.
  • Operate with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and effective follow-up.
  • Use your excellent verbal and written skills to clearly relay information.
  • Provide guidance to 20-30 employees at once while prioritizing tasks.
  • Travel between three (3) different offices and other locations in the DC/VA/MD area
  • Other related duties as required


Requirements:



  • Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in facility security and/or industrial security programs.
  • Associate Degree in related field (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and national security standards (Preferred)
  • Must have a valid driver license


Physical and Environmental Demands:



  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, grab, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
  • Must be able to drive to various locations
