Leidos is hiring a NMCC Project Manager for the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) Information Technology Services (ITS) program within the Leidos Digital Modernization Sector. Candidates require a SECRET clearance and will perform the Air Force's Job Control function on-site. If this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, keep reading! The Digital Modernization Sector is focused on delivering performance-based IT services and repeatable solutions to include applying cloud-factory and aaS (as a Service) capabilities and integrating commercial products to provide a comprehensive digital engineering approach to IT transformation. The NMCC (National Military Command Center) Project Manager will part of the Digital Modernization Sector supporting the AFNCR IT Services program located at the Joint Base Andrews. An active DoD Secret clearance is required; all work is onsite. The candidate will lead and manage project planning, resourcing, supply, progress reporting, trouble-shooting and project team management. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost. Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users and management. Participates in budget development and evaluating how project plan changes impact cost and schedule. Handle AFNCR IT Service procurement of goods and service. Manage each part of the supply chain to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services while identifying possible obstacles that may affect productivity. The Candidate should have strong knowledge of the supply change practices associated with all procurement process initiatives. Primary Responsibilities:
