Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of nursing for assigned patients or tasks.
  • Manage multiple technology platforms and develop collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other staff via remote platforms.
  • Responsible for completing nurse technician and departmental-specific competencies required for the virtual care technician.
  • Conduct virtual rounds on assigned patients and communicate needs to the appropriate individual.
  • Take ownership of assignments and other duties as requested.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant or currently enrolled in nursing school
  • Active BLS certificate
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience in acute or long-term care
