Job Description: This is a position in Corporate IT, to primarily work with the Field Service Business Leads, and Management. Responsibilities Include: Managing the IT Services to the Field Service Business, for the Field Service Applications (e.g. Oracle R12 and the Boundary Applications). This includes: * Incident and Escalation Management * Change Management to requirements * Project Management of IT Deliverables * Cost Tracking, working to budget requirements * Working with internal and external providers. * Reporting and tracking of Activity A key responsibility, is managing the Field Service business engagement with IT, at various levels, and managing the; support, changes, enhancements and projects, to the required service level requirements. This position will be responsible, in working with the business leads, for; analysis, design, and troubleshooting system issues; documenting business requirements and technical specifications; identifying best practices; proposing technology solutions; performing system testing; providing configuration, implementations, and end-user support of Field Service Users and Operations. Must be able to present solutions recommendations for business issues and requirements, that are IT supportable and align with the IT strategy, in working with the development team, support team and external providers. The Field Service Business IT Lead will provide support to Field Service operations worldwide for the Field Service Systems including Oracle EBS Modules of: TeleService, Service Contracts, Field Service, Depot Repair, Install Base, plus integrations and support for other Field Service applications, tools and reporting.
