Are you a smart, driven student ready to tackle the fascinating challenges of the power industry? AECI's Thomas Hill Power Plant is seeking dedicated applicants for an Electrical Engineering internship during the summer of 2025.

What You'll Do:

  • Write bid specifications, evaluate construction bids, and support electrical maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Contribute to plant relay upgrades, arc flash compliance, and electronic database development.
  • Assist with documentation, programming, and maintenance of controls and PLC systems, as well as predictive maintenance plans.
  • Work full-time, Monday through Friday, with the potential for course credit.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Current students enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field with at least two years completed toward a bachelor's degree.
  • Coursework in Circuit Theory is a must, Logic Design is a bonus.
  • Strong attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Experience with relevant engineering software and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving is a plus.
