Job Summary: As the Human Resource Manager you will be responsible for the daily management of HR activities, primarily managing the administration of Company programs, policies & procedures. Essential Functions
- Recruitment and staffing of non-exempt and exempt workforce.
- Assist in creating, updating and implementation of HR Trainings.
- Legal Compliance (Federal, State, Employment Law, Regulations and Company policy and procedures).
- Human Resource record management and administration.
- Ability to work in a highly regulated environment, which requires adaptation.
- Investigate Employee Relations Concerns.
- Worker's Compensation Knowledge.
- Knowledge of work comp and ability to submit any work related injury to Work Comp carrier, track injuries, OSHA 300 Logs & posting requirements.
- Should be completely knowledgeable about any and all procedures regarding the selection and allocation of benefits.
- Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
- Conduct New Team Member orientation.
- Coordinate the development of new hiring programs as needed.
- Coordinate the development of internal department training programs.
- Utilize computer skills to prepare all required correspondence and reports.
- Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of all promotions and events.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have 5 years of Human Resource Management experience
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (HR or Business concentration preferred)
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Extensive knowledge of computer programs, Power Point, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and HRIS
- Should have experience in Publishing, newsletter layout, design, copy and editing.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
- Able to work flexible shifts, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to see, talk, hear, walk, sit, and stand
- Frequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach
- Occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds
- Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
