Location: The successful candidate will be expected to work in a hybrid status of reporting to One Energy Plaza in Jackson, Michigan every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with home office flexibility on Wednesday and Friday. We are looking for: Accounting Analyst (Property/Fixed Asset Accounting) The Accounting Analyst oversees provision of general/sub ledgers, records, and financial reports, the preparation and analysis of different accounts, and the performance of general accounting functions. They will assist in maintaining regulatory accounting compliance by conducting research; reviewing data and assist with the preparing of regulatory reporting by analyzing and providing information. Identifies and resolves variances between the company's system of record and subledger. The Accounting Analyst analyzes expenditures to validate appropriateness of charges. They will work closely with other teams, including: Shared Service, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Operations, Rates, Internal Controls external auditors and regulatory staff.
