Your Role on Our Team:

The Security Supervisor Level II is responsible for managing day-to-day security operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and overseeing a team of security personnel. This role includes handling administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with security regulations, and coordinating emergency responses.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:?

Supervision and Management:

  • Oversee contract security teams, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance,
  • Develop and enforce security protocols, ensuring the team is familiar with emergency procedures.

Security Operations:

  • Ensure the security of buildings, property, and personnel by conducting regular inspections.
  • Manage access control, including monitoring surveillance systems, alarms, and entry/exit points.
  • Respond to and manage incidents such as breaches, theft, or emergencies, ensuring proper reporting and documentation.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when needed.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential security threats or vulnerabilities, implementing corrective measures.
  • Conduct investigations into security incidents, including theft, vandalism, or accidents.
  • Prepare incident reports and escalate any serious security risks to senior management.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date logs and records of all security activities, incidents, and officer performance.
  • Conduct regular audits of security procedures and systems to identify areas for improvement.

Customer Service:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors regarding security concerns or issues.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and ensure a welcoming environment for all.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Certifications in security management or related fields (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Security Supervisor. preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency response.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Physical fitness to perform security duties, including standing for extended periods and responding quickly to incidents.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
