Job Summary Your role at CDW is of the utmost importance to the company's mission, objectives and reputation. As the Principal Application Security Architect, you will partner with the business and the Global Information Security Team to ensure alignment on modern cybersecurity design patterns and solutions. This role is part of the Business Information Security Office and will interact across various global business units. What you will do: * Evangelize the Global Information Security standard architecture design model to business units. * Identify opportunities within the business units where architecture is not meeting standards and provide a clear roadmap and prioritization for the business units to be aligned. * Oversee and / or perform penetration test and / or code reviews to identify security weaknesses across a wide variety of technology solutions, including on-premises applications and SaaS platforms. * Participate in CDW's global Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC) program-providing advisory on secure code and architecture patterns to ensure consistent, repeatable, and scalable security across common application, API, and platform use cases for all the business units. What you will do: * 10+ years of experience in information security domains including authentication, authorization, API, and application / product security. * Liaison with business partners to drive application security architecture principles. * Develop a roadmap to align business units to Global Information Security Standards. * Influence opportunities for standards to be improved. What we expect of you: * We value experience, skills, drive, aptitude and attitude over university degrees and certifications. * Deep understanding of vulnerability management. * Experience in managing cybersecurity in a distributed environment. * Proven ability to develop and implement security metrics and reporting mechanisms. * Excellent communications skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across various levels and functions. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security issues. * Willingness to be hands-on.
