Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the International Controller, and work in coordination and collaboration with the US accounting group on policies and procedures and consolidation of financial results of the international businesses. This role will be responsible for global finance and accounting functions including month end close, annual statutory audits, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for all international entities in the Company's portfolio.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for ensuring books and records are produced in a timely, accurate manner. Maintain integrity from GAAP, management, and tax points of view.
  • Leads, and where necessary, performs the duties of general and international accounting.
  • In partnership with the International Controller, manages budgeting, forecasting and analysis processes.
  • Supports compliance of global transfer pricing strategy and participates in development of such strategies.
  • In partnership with financial process improvement team, supports development and oversight of required financial systems, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • In partnership with in-country accounting partners, supports annual external audit and ensures compliance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), applicable regulatory and governance requirements including internal polies and procedures.
  • Provides timely reports to support Leadership decision making.
  • Partners with finance team to potential system conversions, as well as system implementation for start-up entities.


Education/Experience & Skills:



  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance or accounting.
  • 7+ years of related finance/accounting work experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant and/or international equivalent a plus.
  • Strong command of the English language (verbal, written, and comprehension).
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting controls, policies, and procedures and the ability to provide solutions to control issues.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, sales and/or distribution environment is highly preferable.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Well organized, detail oriented, and self-directed with the ability to relate to all levels of an organization.
  • Must have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
  • Effective communication, presentation, leadership, interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with accounting systems, such as but not limited to Hyperion, Oracle, UKG.
  • Experience with leveraging business systems to create system workflow processes to improve efficiencies and controls, and system report writing capabilities.


Working Conditions:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
  • Up to 10% travel
