Job Description:

We are looking for a System Architect - Expert to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. An ideal candidate will recognize the issue(s), identify the facts, define additional data that would be helpful, make assumptions as necessary, determine alternative approaches, evaluate alternatives, make recommendations, alter assumptions, rework solutions, and reflect on lessons learned.

The Systems Architect shall possess the following capabilities:

• Must have significant experience with Python, Java, Automation and Systems Design
• Deep understanding/experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle) enabling you to design solutions answering the complex needs for multifaceted applications and IT systems.
• Ability to provide strategic direction, roadmap and standard.
• Creating and maintaining architecture design and standards within the models
• Ability to develop high-level system specifications.
• Ability to provide Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) support.
• Ability to collaborate with Engineers regarding design solutions.
• Evaluate current and emerging technologies identifying solution impact.
• Ability to work independently and possess an aptitude for getting things done.
• Develop future technology and architectural advancements to support the customers' vision and goals.
• Knowledge of modern software languages (e.g., Python, Bash Scripting, JavaScript, etc.).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Salt, Terraform, Chef, etc.).
• Knowledge of Containers (e.g., Dockers, Kubernetes).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree are preferred
• Minimum of eleven (11) years' experience, and a range of skill levels from basic to advanced.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with automated testing.
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Knowledge of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) on iterative development projects.
• Knowledge of web applications and frameworks (e.g., Ruby, Rails, Django, etc.)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of Agile development principles.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
