Job Summary:

The Roseburg operation seeks an experienced Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair on the company's fleet of heavy equipment and commercial trucks. (Second Shift: 3PM-11PM Monday-Friday).

Major Job Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot and diagnose problems to determine method and extent of repair necessary (hydraulics, brakes, electrical, etc.).
-Perform service repairs.
-Read, interpret, analyze and apply information from technical manuals and schematics.
-Electrical welding and air conditioning, as needed.
-Anticipate needed parts and supplies.
-Document repairs and complete paperwork.
-Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, safety & environmental regulations & policy.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Prior heavy equipment mechanic or similar experience or training. Class A or B CDL. Should have good driving record, basic mathematical competence, the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers and commitment to working safely.

Wage = $31.21 per hour with excellent union benefits. Teamster Local Union 324 membership upon hire.
