Department of Pathology, Anatomy, and Laboratory Medicine

The position is a full-time, faculty appointment at the assistant professor level in the Professional Programs Clinical/Health Sciences Educator, non-tenure track. As a faculty member of the WVU School of Medicine, duties will include grossing, performing intraoperative consultations, and instruction of residents and Pathologists' Assistant students. Additional responsibilities include teaching in the master's level Pathologists' Assistant Program, which is a two-year, NAACLS accredited, MHS program. There are no weekend or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

  • Successful candidates are required to have a Master's degree, be a graduate of a NAACLS accredited training program, and be certified by ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathology).
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience is preferred.
