Your Role at Baxter

In this role you will report to the Finance Director, FP&A - Kidney Care. You will lead the Global EPM Systems and Capabilities team. Direct line management responsibilities of a team of 3 to 4 employees driving the strategic direction of EPM technical capabilities and operating model to enable global consistency, scalability, and governance

What You'll be Doing

  • Responsible for leading a team to enhance, maintain and integrate systems globally

  • Actively seeks opportunities to capitalize on native functionality/ system capabilities to enable faster processes with more reliable outputs

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by proactively driving alignment of requirements across regions, functions, etc. and quickly collaborates when opposing requirements are presented

  • Support continuous process optimization through alignment with the Global FP&A, functional, and regional leadership

  • Manages the security and integrity of information within the FP&A systems landscape and coordinates with Baxter/KidneyCo IT to manage risks/ threats

  • Ensures the management of the FP&A applications and coordination with key stakeholders

  • Accountable for the testing of all functional and technical requirements and communicates status updates and results with stakeholders

  • Leads post-mortem assessment and sets parameters for monitoring implemented process and system improvements

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of directly related FP&A enabled technology experience with a strong background in transforming and maintaining applications/tools

  • Deep knowledge of EPM systems (cloud-based and on-premise) and proactively stays up to date on improved functionality of existing systems and emerging technology trends

  • Application Lifecycle management

  • Business solution architecture and infrastructure

  • Ability to manage technology vendors

  • Ability to deliver on commitments

  • Achieve results in a dynamic, consistently changing and demanding environment

  • Aware and sensitive to customer needs and the requirements of the marketplace.

  • Global service delivery mindset

  • People management and talent development skills

  • High-level ability to influence and negotiate

  • Proven capability in managing Manager and supervisory level staff

  • Excellent problem solving, and customer service skills

  • Adaptable to new ideas and ways of accomplishing tasks

  • Demonstrated leadership and management of individuals and teams within a shared services organization (COE, GDC, Help Desk, Customer Service)

  • Demonstrated ability to drive alignment through collaboration, interpersonal skills, and technical skills with the ability to speak finance

  • Excellent communications and presentation skills; comfortable with presenting to executives

  • Expert knowledge and technical understanding of business systems functionality and capabilities

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 to $187,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
