The Department of Ophthalmology seeks a faculty researcher to be a member of the Special and Scientific Staff at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. This position will hold an academic appointment at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Why Join Our Team: The Department of Ophthalmology has a robust research program. Working together with a powerful team of basic scientists, clinicians and clinician-scientists, the Department provides a strong collaborative environment focused on the identification of pathogenic mechanisms of eye disease and curing visual impairment and blindness. Our mission also emphasizes training and mentoring physicians and scientists committed to careers in ophthalmology research. The ophthalmology staff is comprised of 9 talented investigators and physician-scientists and more than 20 gifted researchers and trainees from around the world. They work closely together at our state-of-the art research facilities on the campus of Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine in downtown Boston. Who You are:
