Director Diagnostic Cardiology

Under general supervision, the Director Diagnostic Cardiology plans, develops, and implements the provision of a wide variety of very sophisticated cardiovascular diagnostic services according to established medical practice and institutional policies and procedures, upon the direction of the medical staff. Supervises department personnel in Cardiac Ultrasound, Cardiac Nuclear at various metro facilities, Mobile Echo, Mobile Nuclear, EKG, and Cardiac PAC's System. * Masters degree in related field OR obtained within 18 months of hire.

* 5 years of full time experience in cardiac ultrasound or diagnostic/invasive cardiovascular services and have a minimum of 3 year prior supervisor experience required.

* Registry in either ARRT or ARDMS required.

* Must be knowledgeable of the scope of services provided by this department.

* Working knowledge in the operation of personal computer equipment, particularly as it related to the use of computerized systems employed in the specialized equipment used within the department.

* Must have experience with Cardiology PACS system.
