General Responsibilities |
Applicants will be put into the pool for available positions when open. Hiring is done on a rolling basis as the need arises.
The assistant coach reports directly to his/her head coach and shall perform such duties as may be assigned in connection with the supervision and administration of the respective sports team. |
Work Performed |
Provide leadership and coaching expertise that is required in preparing your team to represent
HCC in an exemplary manner at all practice sessions and scheduled intercollegiate athletic contests.
Create and maintain an environment in which the pursuit of higher education is a priority and in which student-athletes respect and abide by all policies laid out in the student-athlete handbook.
Cultivate an environment for your team that promotes good sportsmanship, open communication, team discipline, and respect for all that enters the athletic arena of participation.
HCC Department of Athletics reserves the right to take necessary and appropriate action following the outcome of
MDJUCO/Region 20/
NJCAA investigations into incidents that are strictly prohibited which include but are not limited to: negative social media posting and/or negative public statements directed towards a conference member, student-athlete, coach, staff, or official; fighting; discriminatory language or actions used to incite or provoke confrontation; destruction of property; drug, alcohol, and tobacco use during events. |
