Overview The Assistant Family Advocacy Attorney is responsible for providing legal advice and counsel to families and staff at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The Assistant Family Advocacy Attorney will serve NCH with legal representation for Medical Legal Partenership (MLP) referred children and families and serve as consultant and advocate for families and staff consistent with the mission, values, and strategic objectives of the organization. The Assistant Family Advocacy Attorney will not serve as direct legal counsel for Nationwide Children's Hospital. Full time, Salaried, benefits-eligible; Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm; hybrid Location: Livingston Ambulatory Center (LAC)

Responsibilities Interviews and advises/counsels NCH's patients/families, advocates on behalf of patients/families, represents patients/families in adminstrative hearings and in educational settings, and assists patients/families with relevant referrals and agency applications.
