Overview

The Behavioral Health Outpatient Therapist is responsible for the clinical assessment, behavioral health treatment and related care management strategies of children, adolescents, and their families. This individual is responsible to utilize individual, group and family modalities within expected practice standards and as informed by the professional literature at the outpatient site as well as telehealth, as appropriate.

Salary - based on experience

$57k - $73k

Responsibilities

* Accurately assesses and documents client presenting problems, history, symptomology, mental status, diagnosis and prescribes initial interventions in a timely manner.
* Meets with client/family to assist in developing specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
* Employs strategies of intervention that are consistent with empirically supported treatments and consistent with program expectations.
* Completes clinical charting and other related administrative paperwork in accordance with policy standards.
* Maintains productivity expectations.
* Effectively coordinates client care with other service providers and community resources to assure continuity of care.



Qualifications

Education: Masters or doctoral degree from an accredited university or professional school of Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

Licensure:
* LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S
* LSW, LISW, LISW-S
* MFT, IMFT, IMFT-S

Skills: Demonstrated skills and abilities in providing and managing behavioral healthcare to children, adolescents and families. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, peers and community representative.
