Legal Services Assistant General Counsel
Overview The Assistant General Counsel is responsible for providing legal advice and legal services through the office of General Counsel at Nationwide Children's Hospital for the benefit of Nationwide Children's Hospital (NCH) and its subsidiaries and related companies. The Assistant General Counsel will serve as a consultant, legal advisor, advocate, and leader, in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and strategic objectives of the organization. Responsibilities
Provides legal review, analysis, and advice with respect to the legal implications of Hospital policies, procedures, processes, and decisions, with a particular focus on compliance with federal and state health care laws and regulations. Builds creative, practical, and effective solutions to issues throughout NCH.
Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Education: Juris Doctorate and licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, required. Experience: 4-6 years engaged in the practice of law, as well as an interest in and aptitude for health care law. MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
