IS Epic Services Intern
Overview The Intern is responsible for helping with Provider Updates, Workstation record creation/updates other projects deemed necessary. Interns work closely with NCH staff and leaders to conduct research, capture data, attend meetings and develop and implement new processes and initiatives while helping achieve best outcomes for the hospital. Responsibilities
Gathers and analyzes data. Runs pre-defined queries and formats reports as appropriate.
Qualifications EDUCATION: Enrollment in High School or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program, preferred. SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software Sound written and oral communication skills Ability to work within teams and maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks Demonstrates sound judgment and ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions Displays a positive presence and interacts with all levels of staff, outside vendors, consultants, and physicians. EXPERIENCE: Previous work experience preferred. Note: Regular, reliable and consistent attendance is an essential job function. Employees are expected to perform work as scheduled.
