Overview Contingent, Part time, and Full time hours available. Exempt position, benefits eligible. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is an advanced practice nurse that works in collaboration with the surgical team, providing and utilizing a variety of anesthetics for medical and surgical procedures. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist cares for the patient during the course of the anesthetic including preoperative assessment, administration and maintenance, and recovery. Responsibilities
The CRNA performs a preoperative assessment/chart review of the patient to formulate an anesthetic plan according to the individual needs of the patient.
Qualifications EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing; graduate of an accredited school of nurse anesthesia with eligibility for membership with the AANA and completion of the NBCRNA national examination. LICENSURE: RN in the State of Ohio, APN in the state of Ohio CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS, PALS, BLS SKILLS: Skilled in Providing Anesthesia EXPERIENCE: New graduates acceptable MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Note frequency as Constantly (67-100%), Frequently (34-66%) and Occasionally (0-33%) for each requirement.
