Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Project Schedule Engineer to develop and maintain integrated project schedules for all projects and tasks in support of the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.



Responsibilities

    Plan, build, coordinate, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Communicate and coordinate IMS activities among the functional disciplines within the PMO.
  • Provide IMS technical products (e.g., GANTT charts, network diagrams, etc.).
  • Ensure integrated schedule management technical support to system acquisition processes and collaborate and incorporate key schedule requirements to ensure mission success.
  • Support requirements development, plan preparation, and assess ability to achieve results.
  • Communicate schedule objectives, plans, and status to the customer, the project team, and management.
  • Initiate corrective actions as necessary to achieve end result.


Qualifications

10+ years experience in project support and scheduling including at least 3 years supporting DoD programs. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Advanced understanding and experience with scheduling tools; to include Microsoft Project. Knowledge of various contract types to include Cost Plus, Time and Material (T&M), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP). Able to work and communicate effectively with managers and colleagues at all levels of an organization. Organized, attentive to detail, and willing to pursue resolutions to issues as they arise. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
