Computer Operator V

Abacus Technology is seeking a Computer Operator to provide technical support for a variety of technical issues for Fort Johnson. This is a full-time position.

Resolve a variety of difficult operating problems.
• Review computer output instructions and error conditions and develop processes and procedures to avoid loss of information or to conserve computer time.
• Provide technical assistance to lower level operators and assist programmers, systems analysts, and subject matter specialists with resolution of problems.

3+ years experience in a technical support role. HS diploma or GED. Must be Security+ certified (or equivalent certification in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT II). Able to isolate equipment/system/software malfunctions and restore failed equipment to good working order. Experience conducting operational checks and replacing defective parts and assemblies. Solid customer service skills, including good communication and the ability to demonstrate professionalism. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
