Safety Intern
Halff is seeking a Safety Intern to join our team and assist in ensuring the safety of our employees and workplace, in our Richardson, TX office. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of OSHA regulations, the ability to research safety questions as needed, and some experience with drafting and updating written safety policies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administering a fleet safety program
- Identify safety training needs and assist with developing training materials
- Conduct safety audits and inspections
- Assist in investigating accidents and incidents
- Assist in drafting and updating written safety policies
- Research safety questions as needed
Requirements:
- Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Health and Safety or an equivalent degree.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Ability to research safety questions as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
