Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Site Manager to oversee and lead an IT and telecommunications team providing enterprise support at Fort Johnson. This is a full-time position.



Responsibilities

    Provide technical guidance for directing and monitoring information and telecommunication systems operations.
  • Oversee an experienced team in the management and support for enterprise-level infrastructure.
  • Work with government customer to identify needs or opportunities for improvement, plan and implement large scale projects with no impact to daily operations.
  • Provide oversight for a variety of tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with technical support, cyber security, IT operations, and telecommunications.
  • Provide quality assurance review and the evaluation of new and existing tools and technologies.
  • Provide assistance and oversight for all operations activities.
  • Act as the site manager for all team personnel including interviewing, hiring, timekeeping, evaluations, mentoring, personnel corrective actions, and representing Abacus to the customer.


Qualifications

10+ years experience managing large scale IT and telecommunications contracts in a DoD environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Must be Security+ certified (or hold a similar certification in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II). Must be PMP or CAPM certified. Must be ITIL certified. Knowledge and experience implementing quality assurance/control and safety programs and processes within the telecom industry. ISP/OSP technical experience, hardware interfacing, and data communications. Experience in implementing ITIL, ITSM. Must understand Army IT Metrics Program and C4/IM / AITP service delivery standards. Must be technically proficient in the areas of configuration, installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting of applicable OSP, NIPRNET and SIPRNET systems and devices, and telephone service operations. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
