Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $58,000-$66,500/year Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group has a direct hire opportunity for a Maintenance Technician at a company in the Milwaukee area. Apply now! Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Ensure optimum operation of all production equipment and building systems and components with preventive maintenance and by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing any problem in a timely manner - Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining and/or replacement of purchased parts Maintenance Technician Requirements: - Organized and possess the ability to communicate effectively regarding the status of projects; bi-lingual skills a plus - Knowledge of machining technology, mechanical principles, shop mathematics, job layout and precision measuring procedures, tooling applications, operating methods and machining characteristics of materials - Ability to read mechanical part drawings and measuring devices - Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment - Working knowledge of basic welding practices and techniques - Electrical skills a plus - Self-starter that can prioritize their workday and function independently with minimal direct supervision - Valid driver's license - Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment - Experience with Techmire die cast machines or die cast machines in general a plus - Regularly stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, kneel, talk or hear, use hand to finger coordination, hand tools and controls - Effective use of hand tools, various physical activity, including the ability to lift or move 60lbs of material QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
