Position Title: Tool & Die Operator
Wage: $25.00/hour Shift: Weekend Shift Hours: 5am - 5pm, Thursday - Saturday Let QPS take your career to the next level with this amazing position. Tool & Die Operator Responsibilities: - Set up and adjust dies, molds, and tooling to specifications for production runs. - Operate machinery and equipment used for stamping, molding, and cutting metal parts. - Inspect parts and tools for accuracy, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. - Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on dies and machinery to ensure optimal performance. - Identify and troubleshoot issues with tools, dies, and machines, implementing corrective actions as needed. - Complete and maintain accurate records of setups, inspections, and maintenance activities. - Adhere to safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment. - Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Requirements for Tool & Die Operator: - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in Tool and Die or related field preferred. - Previous experience as a Tool and Die Operator or similar role is preferred. - Ability to lift and maneuver heavy tools and parts, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. - Proficiency in operating and setting up dies and machining tools. - Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. - Ability to use precision measuring instruments. - Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
