Position Title: Maintenance Technician - 12 Hour Day Shift

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Maintenance Technician at a company in Lake Bluff, IL. This is a direct hire position for the 12-hour day shift. Apply now! Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Maintain plant machinery and equipment following a standard preventive maintenance schedule to keep equipment functioning at maximum efficiency and reliability - Perform troubleshooting and analysis to fix additional equipment problems as they occur - Perform general building maintenance which includes, but not limited to, light carpentry and painting, cleaning, light plumbing, changing of light bulbs, repairing minor electrical devices, changing of filters on HVAC equipment, and monitoring of outdoor spaces - Assist Facilities Engineer in scheduling work and determining needs for equipment and supplies - Records actions taken in equipment maintenance log promptly - Make recommendations to improve preventive maintenance procedures and best practices - Perform routine facilities maintenance as needed - Assist Facilities Engineer to coordinate work from sub-contractors - Maintain tool room to ensure availability of repair parts, tools, equipment and building supplies necessary to perform maintenance functions QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
