Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Banking Service Technician to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on banking security equipment including security camera, access control, and alarm systems, banking drive-up equipment, vaults, safe deposit boxes, ATMs and more. Must have effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. As a Banking Service Technician, you are part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

Responsibilities include:



  • Acts as "our customer's best service provider" at all times, prioritizing and completing all service calls and preventive maintenance daily.
  • Uses solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Communicating service schedules and outcomes with customers in a timely manner.
  • Completes accurate and detailed service reports for customer and Convergint in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
  • Escalating issues and reassigning service calls as needed.
  • Maintains a high-level of industry knowledge through training and certifications.


What You'll Need



  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
  • Technical skills and experience related to electronic security and/or other systems interfaced with same.
  • Programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions
  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple service needs simultaneously
    Proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Must be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision.
  • Ability to travel locally with occasional overnight travel
  • Valid driver's license

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience: Trade school, or equivalent experience.



  • Experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems, CCTV systems, and intrusion systems.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Local travel to job sites and minimal overnight travel is required.


Preferred Experience: (but not required):



  • CCTV experience: March Networks / Verint.
  • Intrusion and Access Control experience: DMP / Bosch / PACOM / Lenel.
  • Banking equipment including pneumatic drive-ups, VATS, ATMs, vaults, safety deposit boxes, etc.
