Position Summary The Program Administrator will work to support the major initiative(s) set by the Assistant Director in the undergraduate advising unit. The Program Administrator will advise Global Public Health students in the following programs: undergraduate combined majors, 4+1, and some graduate students on academic programs, providing practical information related to the curriculum and degree progress, as well as administrative aspects of course selection and registration. They will help students make informed decisions about their academic and professional goals; interpret institutional policies and procedures; facilitate access to university resources and support services when needed through appropriate referrals. The Program Administrator will support the Assistant Director in the planning of activities and events that pertain solely to undergraduate students throughout the year, support in the development and implementation of advising strategies for student retention and success, and build connections with faculty, staff, student, and employer constituents. Conduct needs assessments, analyze data, and make recommendations for process or service improvement. The role will report to the Assistant Director of UG Advising in Student Affairs with a secondary line to the Program Manager of Community Engagement in Student Affairs. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $78,614.80. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
