Electronic Technician Location: Lockport, LA Position Overview: An Electronic Technician is responsible for laying out, building, testing, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electrical and electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Lay out, build, test, install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical and electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems.
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and other electrical/electronic technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable commercial and Government specifications and codes.
- Perform component/system start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Work with command and Fire & Smoke Detection Systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electronic Technician.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and components, including command and Fire & Smoke Detection Systems.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and other electrical/electronic technical documentation.
- Familiarity with applicable commercial and Government specifications and codes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of component/system start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
Skills:
- Proficiency in working with electrical and electronic systems and components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation accurately.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to electrical and electronic systems.
