Position Summary Provide administrative and general assistance type office work for Student Housing Facilities Services. Perform a wide range of clerical, secretarial and general office duties including those of a confidential nature. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of departmental offerings and policies. Interact with the general public and act as NYU contact/liaison. Interact with University personnel including those at the senior level regarding specific issues and problems. Customize and/or compose letters in response to requests for information. Perform general word processing duties utilizing intermediate to advanced-level functions. Maintain complex budgetary spreadsheets; assist with monitoring budget status; reconcile discrepancies in accounts; procurement, and invoice tracking reports. Record expenditures and/or payments of expenses and ensure that these are posted to correct accounts. Assist in scheduling work with outside vendors. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $37.90. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
