Position Summary Read and evaluate applicant credentials and determine admissibility. Make admissions decisions from a robust pool of JD and transfer applicants in a competitive admissions environment. Counsel prospective students on admissions policies and procedures. Conduct prospective student recruitment events on campus and virtually. Hold in-person office hours for prospective and admitted students. Manage fall recruitment calendar. Represent NYU Law at recruitment events nationally. Coordinate admissions ambassador program; recruit student participation and organize their efforts. Assist with the administration of alumni, faculty and current student volunteer match programs. Assist with planning of Admitted Students Days. Coordinate and manage summer retention outreach efforts. Manage video interview program for waitlist candidates including coordinating with Office of Communications and liaising with video assessment vendor. Maintain JD Admissions web site and Admitted Students web site and make necessary updates and edits. Serve as Admissions contact for senior administrators and the Dean's Office. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
