- Assist cost analysts in day-to-day work as well as projects.
- Ensure ERP (AS400) accuracy of cost structures.
- Help with the 5 year sales forecast.
- Support cost analysts in component/product costing.
- Formulation of lean cost structures and suggest areas for improvement.
- Pricing updates to existing and new programs.
- Help monitor program margins and trends.
- The end goal of this position is to hire this person on as a cost analyst after graduation. - Finance and/or accounting major. - Sophomore or first semester junior year standing with plans to stay in the area after graduation. - Experience with financial modeling including NPV, EVA, ROI. - Proficient with Microsoft Excel. - Knowledge of macro economic indicators. - Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing and operations. - Able to function with little or no supervision. - Strong communication skills including presentations. - Logic driven thinking. - Able to work during the school year part time. - Ability to travel outside the United States.
