The Content Marketing Strategist will be responsible for planning, writing, and editing customer-centric content across a variety of channels. They will act as a storyteller and strategist and be a steward of the brand voice and editorial style.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Synthesize business goals, and marketing and campaign plans to create content strategies in a customer-centric way. These strategies should be focused on creating awareness, demand, and engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate across the marketing team to integrate and repurpose thought-leadership and campaign content where appropriate.
- Curate and create content for a variety of platforms including blogs, websites, social media, video, podcasts, webinars, and more.
- Serve as SME for the brand voice and editorial style guidelines.
- Edit and proofread all copy.
- Support SEO objectives by using SEO keywords, tools, and best practices.
- Monitor content campaigns to measure program effectiveness via defined metrics. Refine and retest as appropriate. Develop recommendations based on results.
- Work closely with external agencies or freelancers on execution of content where needed.
- Ensure content budgets are used effectively and manage reporting of content for internal partners.
- Identify content trends, best practices and changing consumer preferences to ensure teams are up to date with industry dynamics and producing innovative content.
- Additional copywriting duties as assigned, such as executive presentations.
Required Skills:
- Understands content strategy and the role thought leadership and social content play in the B2C and B2B buying cycle.
- Should be fluent in digital marketing, including website copy development, social media, and analytics.
- Collaborative team player who works with a sense of urgency to help the greater team achieve results.
- Fast learner, pro-active attitude, regularly takes initiative to solve problems, document results, and think of ways to continuously improve.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communications skills.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to independently manage multiple projects and complete projects within budget and on time.
- Have a keen eye for detail.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a communication-related field (i.e., Marketing, Public Relations, Business or Liberal Arts) and a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a digital marketing, advertising, or copywriting for digital - including familiarity in writing SEO copy for web, social media, and/or email communications.
- Familiarity and experience with SEO software tools such as SEMRush, BrightEdge, SiteImprove, etc. preferred.
- Experience in using a web content management system preferred.
