PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The E3D/PDMS Administrator is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Standard Delivery of Aveva E3D, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and supporting the Global Engineering Network. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing project delivery throughout its lifecycle, providing technical support, training, and development of automation enhancements. The position is integral to Worley's mission of delivering sustainable solutions in energy, chemicals, and resources, facilitating the transition to more sustainable energy sources while maintaining the operational viability of existing assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

E3D Administration: Manage Aveva E3D systems, including creating symbology, filters, reports, templates, and performing system maintenance. Ensure the system's smooth operation across all projects.

Global Administration: Set up satellite databases and manage global communications, ensuring seamless integration across Worley's global projects.

Project Support: Develop E3D Execution Plans and Specifications, and provide ongoing training, support, and assistance to E3D projects and locations.

Automation and Customization: Develop and implement automation enhancements and custom solutions tailored to project requirements, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Issue Resolution: Monitor and review issues logged with Aveva regarding E3D functionality, coordinating efforts to resolve common issues across multiple projects.

Service Centralization: Lead initiatives to centralize service delivery, driving a more consolidated and automated process that aligns with Worley's goals for sustainability and efficiency.

Knowledge Management: Maintain and update the Global Engineering Systems Network Master SharePoint site, ensuring it houses the most current and effective Worley standards.

Innovation and Future Readiness: Balance the day-to-day management of E3D systems with fostering a climate of innovation, ensuring Worley's readiness for future challenges.

  • QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL SET

    Industry Experience: A minimum of seven years of experience in the EPC/EPCM industry, with a significant background in 3D layout and design for complex, major projects, including multi-office workshare.

    Technical Expertise: Advanced to expert proficiency in E3D Administration, with a deep understanding of Aveva Licensing System (ALS), E3D configuration, symbology, formats, and project setup.

    CAD Proficiency: Strong skills in common CAD drafting or graphics tools such as Aveva Draw, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.

    IT Systems Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems, including client operating systems, server configuration, and software installation.

    Project Management Acumen: A strong grasp of engineering, procurement, and construction processes, with the ability to manage home office and site planning requirements effectively.

    Global Collaboration: Experience working in virtual teams supporting a global community, with excellent communication and training skills.

    Programming and Customization: Competency in PML (Aveva programming language) and the ability to develop custom solutions to enhance project execution.

    Continuous Improvement Focus: Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, aligning with Worley's sustainability goals.

    Certifications: Relevant certifications in PDMS and E3D systems, Agile/Scrum Master certification is an advantage.
