Physical Therapist - Part Time

Evergreen Retirement Community is currently seeking a part-time physical therapist to help us provide therapy services to our residents.

Evergreen is a Christian, non-profit senior living organization serving older adults ages 55 and better. Located in a pleasant residential neighborhood in Oshkosh, Evergreen offers many options to meet unique needs.

• Three styles of independent living accommodations
• Two levels of assisted living plus memory care
• Short-term rehabilitation and post-surgical care
• Long-term skilled nursing
• Evergreen At Home personal care and homemaker services

We are home to over 350 residents, and also a destination for families, community members, volunteers, non-profit groups and other visitors.

This position is 8-16 hours per week (1-2 days) with the opportunity for growth and more hours in the future. The days and hours are flexible.

As a Physical Therapist at Evergreen, you will:

• Assess, plan, organize and administer rehab programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
• Complete evaluations and discharges for the Skilled Nursing Facility and Home Health
• Supervise two physical therapy assistants

• is able to manage his or her time well
• is able to work both independently and as part of a team

Candidate must have:

• Valid Wisconsin Physical Therapist License
• has the ability to engage people, especially older adults
• is flexible and adaptable
