Packing (201350)

Responsibilities:

• Take product off machine and package into boxes or wrap product
• Stacking product onto pallets
• Shrink wrap pallets
• Print labels & adhere to the outside containers
• Remove access product prior to putting into the machine by using an air hammer and/or by hand
• Use computer system to record time spent per job assigned to
• Notify Supervisor of material and/or equipment issues
• Observe all safety rules and use of PPE
• May perform basic clerical functions (use of label software & for ERP system data collection)
• May lead or train other employees in the bindery area
• Other duties as assigned such as general housekeeping of work areas: taking out trash/recycling, sweeping, or organization of workspace

General Information:

Hours: 3:30pm-3:30am, Monday-Wednesday

• Walking continuously on concrete floors
• Bending, standing, twisting and lifting up to 30lbs. in a fast paced position
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Must be self motivated
• Read and comprehend basic instructions
• Must be comfortable using computers
