2nd Shift Quality

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of plastic parts throughout the production process, including receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Utilize calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment to verify parts meet dimensional specifications and tolerances.
• Perform visual inspections to identify defects such as surface imperfections, color variations, or improper assembly.
• Analyze test results and maintain inspection records according to established quality control procedures.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials or parts.
• Work collaboratively with production personnel to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Assist with the implementation of corrective and preventative actions to improve quality control processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
• May be required to operate basic testing equipment following established procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
• Understanding of plastic materials and manufacturing processes a plus.
• Experience with inspection tools and techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and adhere to established protocols.
