Job Description

What You'll Do:
The Project Engineer (internally known as the Industrial/Operations Engineer) will manage the Capital Expenditures process while working closely with a cross-functional team to drive Safety, Quality, Performance and Reliability. This position will provide operations and technical leadership to the Bakery and Cheese Operations. The Project Engineer will become increasingly involved in operations and may oversee production or act as a backup.

You'll also be responsible for:
* Maintaining programs and files for Capital and New Equipment Awareness
* Providing support to the operational leadership in our Bakery and Cheese Operations
* Overseeing Capital Expenditures and managing the Food Manufacturing capital plan for current and future years
* Troubleshooting issues and providing recommendations for safe and quick problem resolutions
* Working cross-functionally to ensure the build plan is efficiently being met

What It Takes:
Our products, workload, and days are varied requiring someone with strong planning and analytical skills who is adept at handling scheduling and input changes. This person must possess professional level communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment. This role requires someone with operations, supervision, maintenance, planning and, engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

In addition, we are looking for:
* A solution-oriented and customer-focused demeanor
* Ability to lead people and achieve positive results through others
* Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Strong computer systems knowledge, specifically with the Microsoft Suite, ERP system, and CAD
* Working with food manufacturing partners in driving and managing capital expenditures.
