Quality Inspector
The Quality Inspector is responsible to follow standard work instructions to ensure received manufactured products meet the company's FAA Approved Quality System. Familiarity with and competence in the use of Inspection Measuring & Test Equipment is required.

Job Summary
- Inspection - Assess conformity of parts and products to approved engineering through drawing review/interpretation and Inspection process documentation, maintain lot traceability, maintain associated records.
- Processing of Non-Conforming materials per the company's MRB process and Quality System.
- Receiving - Unload, inspect and store goods in accordance with Purchase Orders and replenishment signals; process Receiving documents through Operations / Buyer.
- Prepare parts to be stored to prevent handling damage prior to shipment.
- Provide quality audit of product prior to shipment as needed.
- Communicate with internal and external teams to support customer driven expectations.
- Any tasks assigned by the manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in blueprint interpretation and working knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Typical inspection tools include: a wide variety of handheld precision measuring equipment, surface plate layout, and a variety of purpose built fixtured verification tools.
- Must have strong inter-personal and inter-departmental communication skills, and personal follow-through to meet commitments.
- Must have good problem-solving skills to ensure acceptance of airworthy parts and support Material Review
Board with clear and concise information to disposition parts found defective. - Must be computer proficient (MS Office) and have a working knowledge of basic administrative tools, i.e., phone systems, messaging tools (Outlook) and network applications.
Required Experience and Education
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of Inspection experience preferably in an aerospace or a technical field
