Mechanical Engineer

Innovative Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of
experience in designing and developing mechanical components for industrial
applications. The role includes but is not limited to supporting the
development of new electro-mechanical products and increasing the efficiency, costs,
and durability of existing products. The position requires a skilled individual
in quality control, and cross-functional communication to drive team efficiency.
The position collaborates with manufacturing teams to
ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability to meet cost and delivery targets.

We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.

Our Performance Center in Carson, CA is the Engineered Products Group site for our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, and Radio Frequency (RF) product lines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work in fast-passed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated solid modeling skills; SolidWorks
    preferred.
  • Ability to interpret customer specification and
    apply to design requirements.
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking
    skills.
  • Ability to lead design meetings with a focus on
    clear and constructive actions.
  • Ability to work
    with minimal supervision.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of
    sheet metal and machine parts
    design is preferred.
  • Knowledge of software for stress, thermal analysis.
  • Ability to generate drawing with GD&T to account for form,
    fit, function, and tolerancing stack-up.
  • Develop Engineering documents such as drawings, test procedures,
    engineering change orders.

Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum appropriate experience (3-5 years) in relevant markets.
  • Electro-Mechanical design experience a plus.
  • Must be US Person or Permanent Resident.

This is a generic job posting for a Mechanical Engineer. Depending on the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, they will be hired into an entry (I) level, intermediate (II) level or expert (III) level job and pay scale.

Base Compensation: USD 90,000.00 - 110,000.00 Paid Salaried
