Stockroom Clerk

This role is responsible for supporting stockroom functions
including cycle counting, kitting work orders, receiving and stocking
material. Other supply chain activities
to be assigned as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Material Handling:

• The warehouse /
  logistics associate will perform all warehouse and logistics functions
  pertaining to functional area.
  
• This will include
  receiving, picking, kitting and stocking various types of material.
  
• Fulfill product
  orders by picking/packing product, inputting inventory updates through the
  inventory system.
  
• Receives incoming
  product from stores/other centers/vendors by matching product to invoices,
  inputting product to the inventory system and conducting inventory and cycle
  counts as required.
  
• Operation of material handling equipment and online
  shipping systems when required.

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in warehouse space utilization and
  material flow improvement activities.
  
• Understand core
  processes of the warehousing and packaging areas and participate in efforts to
  improve their efficiency and accuracy of operation.
  
• Support development
  of standardization, guidelines, and policy compliance requirements across
  category level.
  

• Ensures a neat/clean
  work environment by cleaning work areas and discarding materials in the proper
  manner.

Internal Communication and Collaboration:

• Support and promote
  company core values of honesty, professionalism, respect, trust and teamwork
  and utilize the Ducommun Way methodology to achieve objectives.
• Interface with every key functions and levels of the
  businesses as required.

ITAR and Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure ITAR
  compliance and control through secured and coded correspondence and designated
  / approved communication portals.

• Compliance with all applicable ISO Procedures.
• Compliance with all Safety Procedures.

Required Experience and Education

• High School Diploma or GED.
  
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a stockroom / warehouse environment.
  
• Comfortable working with computers and enterprise software
  
• Strong problem-solving skills.
  
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, reliable, a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
  
• Lift, move and carry boxes / containers up to 50 pounds.
  
• Able to operate fork trucks, cherry pickers, easy-go carts.
  
• Detail orientation, able to multi-task and keep working area organized.
  
• Strong understanding and experience in cycle counting and cycle count reporting.

Base Compensation: USD 20.00 - 22.00 Paid Hourly
